She died before I was even born, and she's still alive now. Technically speaking, of course.

It's mind boggling how humans show the wantonest cruelty to those they love most. However, if you think of love as a selfish act, it all becomes painfully logical. Who would love if it didn't make them feel good? It's obvious whose end love serves primarily.

But I still love my mama. Of course I do. The greatest love of all is self-love.
